My Project
Breathe for Change's evidence-based curriculum integrates neuroscience, mindfulness, somatic healing, yoga, psychology, and social emotional learning. This curriculum has been adopted by more than 100,000 educators to assist over 5,000,000 learners–and its effectiveness has been confirmed by studies conducted at Harvard, California State, and Tulane Universities.
The main components of this program include: Social-Emotional Learning & Facilitation, which equips educators to lead social-emotional learning activities and workshops for students; Mindfulness & Meditation, which teaches students how to enhance their awareness of their breath, body, emotions, and thoughts; Mindful Movement / Asana, which involves practicing and teaching yoga to the school community; Philosophy & Social Change, which explores the history of yoga and embodies its ethical principles; and Anatomy, which educates students on developing a deeper understanding and respect for the capabilities of our bodies.
