My Students
I work with a diverse group of four and five year old students. They come from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and family structures. My students have a wide range of ability levels and needs. They love coming to school to interact with their friends and learn something new.
When my students walk into the classroom, they are filled with curiosity and excitement about everything around them.
As this is many of my students first school experience, I hope to create a positive classroom environment that inspires my students to become lifelong learners.
My Project
The beginning of this school year will be like no other, due to COVID-19, and while there are still many unknowns, as soon as my students enter the classroom, I want to know that they are breathing in the cleanest air possible. I also want families to feel comfortable sending their small children to school.
My students need an air filtration system in order to keep our classroom as clean as possible while working to reduce the spread of illness and germs as they learn.
Early Childhood educators know that our youngest students learn best through in person play and exploration and it is my job as a teacher to advocate for the safest possible conditions for this important learning to happen.
