Help me give my students the chance to breathe easier. Our schools are going through unusual events at this time. The air purifier will allow students to breathe in cleaner air, cutting down allergy and asthma symptoms.
I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside.~Whitney Houston.
I am currently a fifth grade teacher in a Title One School, which serves approximately 600 students in grades 5K-5th grade.
Over quarters of our students are on free or reduced lunch. My fifth grade students are full of energy and have an incredible passion for learning. Two thirds of these students struggle significantly with reading and math. Currently, only 16% of these smiling sweet faces are on or near grade level.
I have a Masters degree in Reading and Literacy from Grand Canyon University and I am currently pursuing my doctorate degree. Through my education and teaching experience, I know the importance of using small group and individualized instruction. I understand that every day that I walk into the classroom I will be greeted with a classroom full of children who come from different backgrounds, with different perspectives, goals, strengths, and obstacles to overcome. Children really are our future. Thank you for helping me help them!
My Project
Many students and teachers suffer from allergies and asthma. These symptoms range from mild to severe. A quality air purifier will help everyone breathe easier in the classroom. This will cut down on students having to be tested for Covid-19 symptoms.
The air purifier will positively impact student attendance in school.
Students will have less allergy and asthma attacks. The air purifier will remove pollutants from the air. Students who feel better will be more alert. It will increase student performance in class. Students will be able to interact more with their peers. The air purifier is a win-win in the classroom.
