My Project

My students are in a seventh and eighth-grade gifted class. These students are part of a Title I school. They strive to always do their best even in tough times.

They are creative, free thinkers that desire and need challenges during this time of uncertainty and many changes.

They know that being a part of this gifted class means they will need to work hard and show determination to reach their goals. They must meet certain requirements and show leadership, good grades and attendance. They will also need to support each other in the journey. Part of the project is to create their own breakout to share with other students in the school. This is part of community service learning that shows how they can be leaders in learning.

I want to give my students the learning experiences they need to be successful.

Breakout EDU is an immersive learning games platform. Breakout EDU games consist of a combination of physical and digital puzzle elements that must be solved in a set amount of time. Players of all ages are challenged to open the locked Breakout EDU box using critical thinking, collaboration and creativity.

I want my students to have a challenging and enriching experience in the classroom.
