My Students

My students are active and inquisitive! Our school is comprised of 14 different languages and a high number of free/reduced price lunch students. They live very diverse lives and bring some wonderful things to our classroom family! They are eager to learn, love being in school, and love a challenge!

They are developing leaders, world travelers, scientists, mathematicians, entrepreneurs, teachers, engineers... They are our future, and I want to give them a great start to their long successful life.

We explore, discover, design, debate, challenge, and defend daily.

My Project

I am asking for a Breakout EDU kit and digital resource to help my students show off what they know. This is a fun and engaging way to have my 6th graders apply their new learning.

Sixth-graders need to be engaged and challenged to thrive in a classroom.

Our job, as educators, are to ensure this and a Breakout EDU kit will help me do this. The Breakout EDU kit includes challenging puzzles, secret codes, and engaging activities as well as an online database of content specific challenges for kids to use. The resource will help me tailor my teaching to my students' learning abilities.
