My students are amazing. My students come from many different cultural and economical backgrounds. Over 50% of the students receive free or reduced-rate lunches.
We have a variety of different learning styles to cater to.
Many of our students are English Language Learners and have communication barriers to overcome. We have a high percentage of special needs students that need extra help. Many of our students have difficult challenges that they face every day, but they still have the desire to learn and do their best.
My Project
Have you ever done an escape room and felt the joy when you finally solved the last problem and the door opened? Help give my students that same joy while still learning in a classroom. Escape and breakout games are a fun and exciting way to improve their problem-solving skills and work as a team while learning about different science concepts.
Fun and exciting activities can help students become more engaged in their learning and help them build skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.
All the locks and toolboxes will allow me to make several breakout and escape room games that my students can play throughout the year. Plus students always want to know what mystery treasures are found inside.
Half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
