My Students

While my students come from high poverty backgrounds, the challenges they may face on a daily basis have not affected their passion for learning. I teach multiple subjects in a self-contained gifted 7th and 8th grade students who have a love for learning.

In our classroom we are trying to create future thinkers that utilize problem solving, creatitivity and communication.

Many of my students are hands-on learners and 21st century skills are important for the future success of our students.

My Project

Breakout EDU projects bring critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication alive by working to solve codes for the different locks in the game. They make students engaged in their learning experience with a hands on approach to learning.

This Breakout EDU kit, will turn our classroom into an escape room where scholars use teamwork and critical thinking to solve a series of challenging puzzles in order to open the locked box to review content areas.

This kit will provide my gifted scholars with 21st Century STEM experiences that will allow them to collaborate with their peers while using problem solving skills.
