My Students

I work at the amazing Middle School in Harrisburg, North Carolina. My 6th grade students are curious and excited about new learning opportunities. We are currently learning via digital resources due to the CoVid 19 virus. I miss them like crazy but they are still reaching out wanting to learn!

My students are both curious scientists and precise mathematicians waiting for a challenge.

Help me to engage them in math and science learning, even when we are unable to be together in our classroom.

My Project

This project will give my students access to breakout.edu. This site will give them the opportunity to problem solve from their own homes and engage in academic puzzles.

Much like a breakout room, this digital source will engage students problem solving, higher level thinking, and engagement levels; even when they are learning from their own homes.

Students are bored already from this quarantine, so let's spice it up a little bit and engage them in some fun learning opportunities!

This kit also comes with one physical kit that I hope to use when they return. Missing them a bunch and can't wait to get back into the classroom.
