Help me give my students numerical combination locks, 5-word combination locks, a cell phone jail, Emoji Cipher Wheel, Mexican Army Cipher Wheel, Book Safes, Lockout Hasps, and more.
Escape Rooms have increased in popularity; and, they are a wonderful way to engage students in multi-modal learning. I am requesting a variety of padlocks, combination locks, decoding ciphers, lockout hasps, cell phone jails, fake cell phones, Dewey Decimal phone covers, UV lights, invisible ink pens, and Book Safes in an effort to create highly engaging learning experiences relating to information and media literacy.
The ultimate goal of this project is to help students regain some of the social capital that they lost as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic through collaborative problem-solving.
