My Project

Imagine you are a student in Spain and you only speak English. Attending regular classes and learning the content would be a great challenge for you until you learn the language. Because you are faced with this challenge, you will be given a class to help you learn the language but this class is only an hour a day in your seven hour school day. This situation is played out each day in my school with my MultiLingual Learners (ML) who come from different countries. They come to school with their native language and little to no understanding of the English language.

Living in the Twenty-first century, full of technology, helps break down this barrier with the use of Translation Earbuds.

Working with you, I want to pilot a program in my school to help break down the language barrier and give my ML students, who are not native English speakers, the ability to learn like native English speakers.

The Translation Earbuds will allow the ML students to hear the lesson that is taught in English in their native language and allow them to engage and respond to the lesson in their native language and the teacher hear it in English.
