My Students
My students are energetic, intelligent, and highly driven young men.
Despite many obstacles, they each have a unique purpose for their lives which I help them find and realize.
They enjoy learning about themselves, how they can influence each other, their school, and ultimately, the world.
These are the young men that will make a difference in the near future. They have many dreams hopes and aspirations for their future. They are resilient and full of perseverance. They don't give up easily.
My Project
A huge part of us coming together and the success of this program is being able to "Break Bread." This is when we come together during the lunch period and check-in.
so much can happen in the lives of teen boys between waking up and lunchtime, and its important to have a check-in to help clear their minds and continue the day with motivation and ease.
Without me being able to provide food for them, They would either get school lunch (which most don't eat) or go outside to buy lunch (which most cant afford). This effects the group drastically.
The items I have selected are a range of healthy yet filling snacks for my students to have energy for the rest of the day. These Items are also quick and simple which will help our group utilize most of our time.
