This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school every day eager to learn. Every day I have students come to school late. This means they are not getting the breakfast they need to stay fueled and ready for the day. My school is located in a low-income area on Staten Island. All students at my school receive free lunch.

Every student should have breakfast to keep them engaged and eager to learn.

By providing students with breakfast they will be more focused on their work and not be hungry. Some families at my school do not have the resources to provide their children with breakfast. Please help me stock my classroom with breakfast items for my students.
