My Students

I love where I work. Not only do we have a wonderful staff, but the students are also simply amazing. They always give their best and work very hard. I am so very proud of my students.

At my school, 100% of students receive a free breakfast and lunch.

This helps them to be focused on the day ahead of them. It is also great to know the students are getting the meals they need while at school. They will be spending a large amount of time in the classroom. They work so hard for us and I want to create an environment that reflects the hard work they put in while at school, by providing them with a safe, fun, and personalized space to learn.

My Project

In a classroom of 27 students that has been growing quickly it can be hard for my some of my students to find a quiet place to take a break. Breaks are definitely needed for a few of my students when the room can get loud and overwhelming.

Students need mental health breaks during the day and I have students who currently look for the smallest space in the classroom to get a brain break.

I want to give them a proper space like the cozy cube to get their necessary breaks to help ease their anxious minds! In this space I also will put stress relieving fidgets in clear containers for them to use while in the cozy cube spot!
