My Students

My twenty-five students come from all different backgrounds, but they share one common trait; growing up in a technology

and hands-on world.

They are a fun, curious bunch of kids who, like all other eight-year-olds, like to be entertained while they learn. Staying current with their technology devices and learning resources is one way to reach this. I believe that finding the balance of using the latest resources and making an impact as a great teacher is what the key to every successful classroom is.

I would love to see my students this year have the chance to experience educational Break-out activities with our own classroom kits. I know they would have a lot of fun learning with hands-on exploration, problem solving, and teamwork!

My Project

My students would use these kits in our classroom to experience this new type of educational problem solving. Educational Break-outs can be done with any subject area, and students would have opportunity to utilize both technology and hands-on methods.

Creative thinking and problem solving are two skills that are required in today's world.

Educational Breakout activities will allow every student the chance to put their deep thinking to the test while working on current grade-level standards. Kids connect with learning so much more when it is fun, interactive, and hands-on. These kits tie necessary educational standards together with technology and a lot of team collaboration!
