My Project

We are in the process of assembling calming toolkits for our 6th grade classrooms! These break boxes/calming toolkits are aimed at providing our students with resources to manage their emotions effectively. These toolkits will help students self regulate. Our goal is to include items such as stress balls, fidget toys, sensory bottles, mindfulness cards, and other relaxation aids!

We believe that by equipping our classrooms with these calming resources, we can help our students develop the essential skills necessary and to create a more conducive learning environment.

Each classroom with have one toolkit. Students will be able to take an item from the toolkit as needed during class!
