My Project
I teach middle school instrumental music (grades 6 - 8) in Maryland. The program has grown expeditiously over the time that I have been there. We are entering a new school year and we are eagerly excited to return to public performances to demonstrate our progress.
My students are some of the best students you could ask for.
They are all members of the middle school instrumental music program and love what they do. They work really hard and produce superior results. The students are high achievers and I couldn't ask for anything else.
For this project, I like to show students (and their parents/guardians) how much of a difference a mouthpiece upgrade can do to improve their sound without having to purchase a brand new brass instrument
This combination of materials for their instruments opens their eyes and ears to another world that is out there for them. It is always great to see the look on their faces when they hear their tone improve without having to do anything different.
We hope you can find it in your heart once again to support these students as they find and/or continue their passion for the arts!
