My Project

BrainPop is a great resource for helping students engage with different topics! My students learn a lot from their engaging videos and content that present new information in a clear, concise manner.

When I teach about complex topics like the colonization of North America and the American Revolution, I try to incorporate a variety of resources.

Each lesson relies heavily on primary and secondary text sources, articles, images, artifacts, and books about the topic. I have found that BrainPop does a great job in teaching about the most important parts of a topic, while also addressing the complexities. When we watch these videos, students practice their note taking, synthesis, and discussion skills. Students are able to learn important vocabulary in context and visualize ideas more clearly.

My students are eager to learn! They are most engaged when seeing information presented in different ways. I know that BrainPop will continue to help me enrich each lesson!
