My Students

When I first starting teaching, BrainPOP Jr. was funded by my school. My students really enjoyed this interactive website because it was a great addition to our lesson. Student engagement was high and the need for more technology has become more demanding. Please help my class!

My students are full of energy and passion!

They are silly and intelligent. They thrive off of fun and engaging lessons. My school wants to incorporate as much technology as they can. Our students are encouraged to use different devices and be life-long learners!

My Project

Students will use BrainPOP Jr. for all academic subjects, especially science. The best part about this website is that it can be done in many different ways. I can introduce a topic or wrap up a lesson by showing BrainPOP Jr. We can do it as a whole group lesson or as an individual assignment. There are interactive videos, quizzes, activities, games and more! When I first started teaching this website was funded and I used it all the time. Today I used the free version and my students were glued to the interactive site! They found it funny and informative at the same time!

My project will make a difference because students will be more engaged.

I will be able to reach out to students with different learning styles. Students who are visual learners will be able to see interactive videos and activities that they normally wouldn't see, like going into space, or how the food chain works for ocean animals. My students who are audio learners, or students with learning disabilities, will be more comfortable learning where they are not pressured to read independently.
