Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an amazing group of Freshman in my 9th Grade AVID class. They work hard at learning the skills to be successful in high school. One of the most commonly heard comments from students is that they are hungry! Their growing bodies and hard-working brains constantly need fuel. They also need several brain breaks to help them stay focused and motivated.

I often provide healthy snacks throughout the year as well as games for brain breaks, but it can become a bit costly over time!

I'd love to be able to offer these kiddos snacks when needed, as well as brain games to break up the day a bit.
