This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Brain dissection kits will enrich my students learning by giving them a hands-on experience with the neuroscience we are discussing in class. My junior high students are driven by their curiosity. They lead our science class discussions by constantly asking questions. I am hoping to give them the opportunity to explore the neuroscience that they are so inquisitive about! I have access to a classroom and also a school laboratory. Students are always excited at new opportunities to go to the laboratory. With these brain dissection kits, the students will get to have an authentic lab experience that will continue to drive their eagerness and love for science.
