My students are 21st-century learners who are constantly seeking knowledge. They are growing up in a fast paced informational world. Most of their day is spent inside a classroom in a sedentary way. When they are given opportunities to move around and stimulate their brains, they get energized and excited about the things they still have to learn. My students need STEM based learning resources. These tools will be used to challenge their creative thinking in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math.
My Project
My students are creative learners who are looking for fun ways to stretch their brains. I am asking for multiple games and puzzles including Kanoodle, The Genius Square, ThinkFun Chocolate Fix, ThinkFun Color Cube Sudoku, ThinkFun Potato Pirates Coding, ThinkFun Swish, ThinkFun Hoppers, and Coogam Wooden puzzles. My students will be able to explore the games and puzzles independently for daily brain warm ups, and with groups to work on strategizing and team building.
The resources from this project will provide limitless opportunities for my students to exercise their minds while engaging in unique learning tasks.
Students will be able to collaborate with each other to discuss strategies for solving the problems and work together to be more efficient in the tasks as the year progresses.
