Help me give my students snacks to fuel their brains!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Narvaez's classroom raised $171
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A fed mind is a functioning mind. Contribute to my classroom supply of snacks to make sure my students aren't going hungry. It's hard for students to learn on empty stomachs. As growing high school students, my 9th graders often need more than just school lunches to be satisfied. Their bodies need a lot of energy to grow into the young adolescents they are becoming, and even more energy to allow them to stay focused in the classroom.
Help me create a supply of food that I can provide to my students when they need an energy boost!
Snacks can be used as an incentive in the classroom, but they're also a necessity to ensure students have the brain power they need to focus on the day's lesson. The fruit snacks and granola bars will provide a needed boost in brain power for hungry students, and the assortment of candy will reward students for stand-out behavior!
Full students do the best learning! Not all students have the ability to bring their own snacks to school and hold them over to bring meals. Many students in our community rely on schools to provide much of their access to food throughout the day. I'd like to help combat hunger by making sure students have access to nourishing snacks at all points of the day, not just during school meals. I am so grateful for your contribution!
