My Project

Since COVID the ability to extend lessons through hands-on manipulatives as well as cross-curricular lessons, has drastically decreased. This limits the opportunities students have to solidify their learning through hands-on use of manipulatives. Students often discover new concepts directly related to current learning and materials being taught when they are allowed to explore independently and develop things on their own. These resources will allow my 2nd graders to continue their classroom learning through hands-on developmental lessons that are age appropriate and content specific. Students will learn how to share, communicate, use self-regulation and develop critical thinking skills.
