This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students work very hard throughout the day in their classrooms. Lunch time in the Media Center is a welcomed treat for students.
I would like to provide opportunities for my middle school students to relax and rewind in the Media Center at lunch with activities that encourage having fun, conversing with their friends, and taking a brain break from their studies.
Playing board games can give anxiety relief to children.
Children in middle school welcome these opportunities to rest and decompress from the challenges of their day. When they are rested and relaxed, they are able to face the rigors of the rest of their day.
Please help me provide board games in the Media Center for all students to enjoy!
