Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Fidget toys, stickers, and creative building tools play a valuable role in supporting students' social-emotional health by offering them outlets for self-expression, focus, and stress relief.
These tools help students manage big feelings in healthy ways—fidget toys can soothe anxiety and improve concentration, while stickers and building activities allow for creative expression and a sense of accomplishment.
They also encourage cooperative play, sharing, and communication, which are key to developing empathy and social skills. Incorporating these items into the classroom creates a safe and supportive environment where students feel empowered to regulate their emotions and engage positively with others.
