My Students

I have 23 eager and smiling faces that come through my door each day. My room is full of love, laughter, and learning! Each child is an individual with unique needs and gifts.

When we come together each day to learn and grow, I am reminded that our future leaders are among the children in my room.

First grade is not only an important year for academics, but also for social emotional learning as well. Our students need time to collaborate and problem solve with one another.

My Project

Students will use these brain boxes daily to develop strong problem solving skills. They will be challenged to work both collaboratively and cooperatively while engineering new ideas every day.

Students will learn to work together in order to accomplish a common goal.

Our learners are the future and developing the whole child is imperative to success. Lifelong skills are learned in our first grade classrooms. Their future employers will be looking for people that can think outside of the box, be creative and be able to solve problems in new ways. I am giving them an early start by providing time and resources to actively explore!
