My Students

First grade is the best. We are spending our first (full day) year of school learning so much. We have 24 students in our classroom and we love learning together. We have many places in our classroom to work together and learn.

We are learning more than just reading and math Learning to work together, problem solve, and get along are important parts of our day.

Students in my classroom are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative. We love singing together, dancing, and playing as we learn. We love using technology to help us gain knowledge.

My Project

We start our mornings with Brain Bins. We build, create and imagine. This helps get us ready for our busy day. Our brain bins help us develop creativity, imagination, problem solving, vocabulary, cooperation, social skills, critical thinking, and oral language.

Brain Bins set a happy tone for our classroom.

We are learning to work together and share supplies. Students build cooperatively and the vocabulary they share is remarkable!

Our Brain Bins help us wake up and help us say, "I am ready to think and learn today." New supplies for our Brain Bins will further increase our learning, creativity and problem solving.
