This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our high school is a school with no gymnasium. My students come from diverse backgrounds, but they share a common drive to grow and improve, both physically and mentally.
This project seeks to provide my students with boxing gloves and pads—essential resources that will help them develop physical and mental skills.
With the right equipment, students will be able to safely practice techniques, improve their fitness coordination, reaction time, while building cardiovascular fitness through boxing drills.
My goal for this project is not only to enhance my students’ physical fitness but also to instill important life skills such as discipline, resilience, and goal-setting. Boxing is a great way to teach self-control while encouraging students to push past challenges, both in the gym and in life.
