This is a great opportunity for my students to learn about the environment.
I have juniors and seniors who are high achieving and want to learn about the environment and do well on their AP test.
Hopefully these kids can get college credit for these labs and activities they are doing in class. We are doing our best to help them pass the AP test.
My Project
I have requested some basic organization supplies to help the room stay organized. Each student will now have a file folder dedicated to them so they can easily retrieve their graded assignments. I have requested an iPad mini to use for a variety of things: I will use the GradeCam app to give them instant feedback on assessments, I will use AP review apps to help them review for the AP test and I will have it available for students to use in class who don't have their own Internet device. I have also requested a lab to show how waste water treatment works and another lab to demonstrate the effects of climate change.
These kids will really like having these materials to help them do well on the AP test so they can get college credit.
The labs and activities make it fun for them to learn the material.
