My Students
My students are very energetic and have a true love of learning. They love to reach their goals and are willing try new strategies to help them to learn. I believe in each and every one of my students and they know they are the best first graders ever!
Our school is a Title I school in Texas, so most of our students come from low-income families.
My students do their best in all that they do. They realize that to be successful in life, they, in turn, need to achieve success in school.
My Project
My students will use the Bouncy Bands on their chairs every day. The bands will help my students be able to move while they are learning. The bouncy bands will help my students to get the movements they need to be able to focus on listening and completing the assignments. Without distracting others, my students will use the bouncy bands to get all their "jitters"out. These bands will increase time on task for my students.
Some of my students struggle with the ability to stay focused and on task.
Bouncy bands will help my students move while still being able to learn. When students' minds are not focused, they tend to get distracted and get fidgety. The bouncy bands will calm all of their fidgets and give them a chance to be their best.
