My students will use the iPad mini for Istation and other learning apps during Daily 5. We will also use it during math stations to practice skills previously taught as well as practicing math facts. These students need a great deal of practice and this is a great motivator for learning. Many of my students do not have access to technology outside of school and this iPad mini will expose them to new technology. The whisper phones will enable students hear themselves read during Read to Self. This will improve their fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. We need these items to help us be successful learners.
