Bouncy Bands Reduce Anxiety and Stress-Increase Attention and Focus
My students need bouncy bands in the classroom to reduce their stress, anxiety, and attention deficit related behaviors. Bouncy bands will give my students the outlet they need to focus on academics and be successful!
I teach 6th grade math and science. Students are in my class for approximately 70 minutes each period. I teach in a mobile unit and space is tight. Students are allowed movement within the classroom; however, not all lessons lend themselves to movement.
Stress, anxiety, and focus difficulties are often things students experience in middle school, especially those with special needs.
Students who struggle with anxiety, stress, or attention difficulties can often be found squiring in their seats, tapping on their desks, or getting out of their seats at inappropriate times. Often they are unable to complete their assignments or follow along with the class due to these struggles.
Bouncy Bands allow students to engage in movement while remaining in their seat. This, in turn, increases time on task and helps high energy workers fidget without distracting others. Bouncy Bands also discreetly ease student anxiety, stress, and frustration. They are 100% latex free and safe for everyone.
My Project
Many students in school today struggle with attention difficulties as well as increased stress level and anxiety. My classroom contains a diverse groups of students from those who are academically gifted to those in need of special educational support.
Bouncy bands will give my students a chance to focus on learning rather than focus on being fidgety, anxious, or the need to get out of their seats.
Bouncy bands are quiet, non-invasive, and safe for all students! Students are able to relieve stress/anxiety in a way that allows them to remain in their seat. Students will be able to focus on their academics and provide them the opportunity to be successful.
