The new books introduced students to different genres, perspectives, characters, and experiences while helping them practice comprehension, vocabulary, making connections, and reading stamina. Replacing worn and missing favorites also ensured that students could continue enjoying books they were already excited about.\r\n\r\nOur library became a place where students could browse, discover something unexpected, and choose a book that genuinely interested them. Students who were already enthusiastic readers were excited to see new titles on the shelves, while reluctant readers were drawn to books featuring humor, sports, action, adventure, and relatable characters. I especially enjoyed seeing students who didn't typically consider themselves \"readers\" find a book they wanted to keep reading.\r\n\r\nThe biggest impact was giving students more choice. When students can find books that reflect their interests and meet them at their reading level, they are more willing to take a chance on a book and spend time reading. Because of your generosity, my students now have engaging tools that truly support their learning. I've been using the Post-it notes to create anchor charts around the classroom, and they have helped my students understand lessons more clearly. Important details and examples are written on these charts, and whenever students forget a concept, they can simply look around the room and be easily reminded. This has helped reinforce learning and build confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were excited and eager to use them. They especially enjoy using the mini whiteboards during our think-pair-share activities. These whiteboards allow every student to actively participate by writing their ideas, sharing with a partner, and then discussing as a class. Even students who are usually quiet feel more comfortable sharing their thinking this way.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue using the anchor charts and mini whiteboards to support current lessons, review concepts, and collaborate with classmates. These resources have become a daily part of our classroom routine and will continue to support meaningful learning experiences.
