My Students

My students are creative, diverse, hard-working, and so amazing! They are in the thick of the transition from “learning to read” to “reading to learn” and so much will be expected of them this year! I want them to know they are supported and make sure that this pandemic doesn’t slow down their accomplishments.

My Project

I have many students that struggle with the thought of standing still. Not only does this interrupt their learning but other students ' learning as well. It can make for a disruptive learning environment.

I have ordered lesser versions of these desk bands however, would like to get durable ones for my students that desperately need to fidget.

These bands allow the student to quench their thirst to fidget without bothering anyone WHILE encouraging them to stay seated. Students with attention deficits need more creative solutions and I believe this is a great one.
