Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach for Chicago Public Schools in their Autism Program. The program is just getting stared at my school, and we are still in need of many supplies. Therapy Balls would be a great asset to the classroom. Therapy balls are used to help students to focus on a task, maintain good posture, work on balance, and for calming. Students enjoying sitting on the balls to bounce, and when done before a quiet activity this helps them to calm down and focus. Using a ball in place of a chair is fun for the student and also helps them to maintain good posture and focus better on the task at hand. Please help us get our classroom started with some therapy balls. Thank you.
