Help me give my students the comfort of learning. Help me throw away the old views of a traditional classroom, and bring on the new out-of-the-box (no pun intended) classroom comfort!
My students are so inspiring! They come with a wide range of developmental delays but believe me, there are no delays in their love of learning! Despite their battles against poverty and special needs, these kids are ready to take on the world and I’m ready to show them the way!
My upcoming class is a small self-contained group of 12.
It is a bridge class, which means it will consist of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-grade students. Most importantly, these kids are amazingly eager to learn and grow, and I’m so excited to provide the environment they need to do so!
My Project
Like most of us, my students struggle sitting in their seats for extended periods of time. However, just because we’re restricted to one room all day, doesn’t mean we have to be restricted to one seat all day! I would love to provide my students with the option of alternative seating. I’ve participated and witnessed Flexible Seating and it works! Funding for this project will help me bring fun and comfy seating choices to all my students. Let’s get rid of the dreaded traditional classroom (we’ve all been there.. 😴😴😴 ) and bring on the new, comfy learning environment!
