This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am thrilled to share an exciting opportunity to enhance the learning experience for my students through flexible seating options in the classroom. For years, we've relied on the traditional four-legged chair, but I believe it's time to offer diverse choices for optimal comfort and engagement.

Recognizing the importance of movement, the balance ball seats have been chosen to foster increased oxygen flow to the brain.

This not only accommodates the need for physical activity but also allows students to move without disrupting their peers.

Moreover, flexible seating options have proven to be highly beneficial for students with ADHD and other disorders. By providing them the opportunity to move while staying in place, we can create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment. This approach not only accommodates their needs but also enhances their focus and engagement.
