My Project

In 2022 my district was hit by a massive cat 4 to 5 storm named Hurricane Ian. Some of my students were left after this storm with just the clothes and a few items they had with them. Many homes and including a few of our schools were damaged and uninhabitable. My student all ready come from low-income homes and struggle with day-in and day-out needs.

As a teacher for these students, I attempt to provide them with everything needed for success from pencils to pens to paper.

My school has a clothing closet and basic bathroom necessities, but sadly, from the storm a lot of these resources are drying up. So I thought I can use items like the organizer and baskets to help organize my students in our chaotic year. I know that with the support of our community and wonderful donors like you, we can Bounce Back Together and give our students a wonderful school year.
