My Students

I teach a fun, active group of 25 second graders. They love to learn and work together. In second grade, we learn a lot of new skills every day. These students are eager to learn and apply their skills every day!

My students are on a variety of levels in the classroom.

They need engaging ways to practice the skills they are missing. My students that are reading above level need engaging ways to challenge their brains!

They need new and exciting experiences to keep them engaged in our curriculum. I like to provide them with experiences that will immerse them in the learning and teach them about the world we live in.

My Project

My students are an energetic bunch! They love moving and they are full of energy.

Kids aren't meant to sit in one spot all day and not move.

Yoga balls will help the kids move while we are learning. They will be able to focus their brains on the learning. They will be able to focus their energy on learning and get their wiggles out at the same time.

When children are able to get their wiggles out, they can learn more. They are focused on the material and not on wanting to move. We also will be able to spend more time on learning and not taking as many breaks to get those wiggles out. Their bodies will be engaged so their brains can be engaged too!
