This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All students at Keonepoko need recess equipment to have fun and keep them active. When this project is funded all students will have addtional recess equipment to keep their bodies in motion. Keonepoko students love to play basketball. The portable basketball hoops will be set up in their recess area so students are able to practice their skills of dribbling and shooting. Students will be introduced to badminton in physical education class giving them another skill set to enjoy and practice. We encourage our students to practice ALOHA (A Lifetime of Healthy Activity).
