This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My bilingual, fourth grade students enjoy working in pairs, independently, and in groups. I want to provide more flexible seating options for my students because they do sit often in class to complete work. My students would love to have yoga balls or chairs to help them get the wiggles out and be able to concentrate in class. Often times, students need somewhere else to sit instead of their chairs. Having a yoga ball to use and bounce on when needed, will help them stay on task. The wobbly stools will give them more range to help them move around in their seats.
