My students are so inquisitive. They always want to know more, and sometimes know more than I do. Science and History are their favorite subjects. Their favorite part of Science is when we get to do STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activities and they have to build and test different designs. One STEM activity we did was building Popsicle stick bridges. They had to make the strongest bridge possible using only 30 sticks and 3 feet of tape. They got so creative, and even though all the bridges didn't succeed, they learned from those failures as well.
My Project
The first item on the list is the Bouncy Bands. These bands will be used to help students focus in class. Students will be able to bounce their feet on these bands which provides movement and stimulation during lesson time. It is especially helpful for students who struggle with sitting still.
The next items are Coding Robots Dot and Dash.
These robots will be used in class to teach my students how to code. Computer coding is becoming more and more important with the increasing technology demands. Getting students interested in coding while they are young can lead to them choosing jobs in the future.
