I have some of the greatest students in the world. My students are always eager to learn and very inquisitive wanting to learn more about the world every day.
Our school is a very small, rural school district in southwest Missouri with roughly 370 students K-12.
Coming from a small school, my students do not have the opportunity to experience some of the same things that larger schools provide. I look for ways to change that every day and provide the very best education possible for my students.
My Project
The resources I am requesting will be used to help my pre-K through 1st grade students get introduced to coding and robotics. I have the privilege of getting to work with multiple different grade levels in my job, but I do not have a lot of supplies for my younger students. These supplies will allow me to create exciting and engaging new lessons for these kids.
Imagine being a kindergartner and having your tech teacher come in with new robotics to learn coding, oh the excitement!
This is what I want to bring to these students. The excitement of learning coding and robotics at an early age, so these students continue to grow up and enjoy coding and robotics. The lessons learned through coding and robotics do just apply to technology, however, it also teaches problem solving and critical thinking skills that are needed through their education and life. I am excited to bring such new skills and lessons.
