Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The purpose of this proposal is to give my students the opportunity to participate in a live outdoor experience and learn about gardening, growing their own food, and connecting with nature. I want to create a gardening club so my students can focus on planting vegetables in a garden that will be located on the grounds of the school.

My students need these boots to work and be safe in our new garden.

I firmly believe that the gardening club would be a valuable addition to our school, and I hope that you will consider donating to our cause!

This project symbolizes the essence of hands-on commitment and active involvement. This can also be a great way to teach kids about sharing with others. Learning how plants grow can teach a lot about sustainability and the importance of caring for the environment whether it's tackling a challenging project, engaging in community service, or navigating through life's obstacles.
