This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My high school students are outstanding in every way! They are scholars, athletes, artists, musicians, activists, leaders, employees, volunteers, etc. They are also typical teenagers with the weight of the world on their shoulders. Academic and extracurricular activities often drain them and they become overwhelmed. They are susceptible to anxiety, stress, and depression. They spend the majority of their day in classrooms and hallways in their school.
Our goal is to create banners with paint, brushes, markers) that beautify our hallways and motivate our students, encouraging them to persevere while feeling secure and supported!
