Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A MacBook will allow me to create and present engaging literacy lessons tailored to my students' needs. With a reliable device, I can access interactive reading programs to support my struggling readers and English learners. I can develop and present visually engaging lessons that reinforce foundational literacy skills. I can track students progress using assessment tools to provide targeted instruction. Furthermore, I can participate in professional development via Zoom to enhance my teaching.
My goal is to improve student literacy and engagement through the use of technology to enhance lessons and track students progress.
My students are young learners who face challenges in reading and language development. Many are English learners who require extra support. Despite these obstacles, they are eager and hardworking. With the right tools, I can provide the high quality instruction they need to build confidence and become strong readers. This MacBook will directly impact their learning by ensuring I can deliver effective, engaging, and personalized literacy instruction.
