Boosting Learning with Games with Snacks: Engaging Math & ELA

Help me give my students engaging math and ELA games, along with snacks, to support our students' learning and motivation. These resources will make skill-building fun while ensuring students have the energy to stay focused and succeed!

My Project

The items I am requesting will provide my RTI students with engaging math and ELA games that reinforce key skills while making learning fun and interactive. Many of my students struggle with traditional learning methods, so hands-on activities like word-building games, phonics puzzles, and math strategy games will help them stay engaged and motivated. These games will encourage cooperative learning, allowing students to work together, discuss strategies, and build confidence in their abilities while enjoying the learning process.

My goal for this project is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel excited to participate and take academic risks.

By incorporating games into our lessons, students will have more opportunities to practice essential reading and math skills in a low-pressure setting. Snacks will also play an important role, giving students a boost of energy and making our small-group time feel like a welcoming space where they can focus without distractions. With the right resources, I hope to foster a love of learning and encourage my students to persist through challenges with enthusiasm.

My students are incredibly special because they show up every day ready to try, even when learning feels tough. Many of them have faced academic struggles, but they continue to push forward and celebrate their growth. They thrive in an environment where they feel supported, and by providing engaging math and literacy games alongside small incentives like snacks, I can help them stay motivated and build confidence. Watching them light up when they master a concept or help a peer is what makes this work so rewarding, and with these resources, I know they will continue to grow both academically and personally.
