This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students couldn't love the magic of reading and writing more! They look forward to reading books on their own and gaining independence in their literary journey. My students do an incredible job at motivating one another to be the best readers and writers they can be, and hands-on reading and writing materials will allow them to progress farther and explore their love of ELA that much more! My English Language Learners use their wonderful imaginations to think up and write about the world around them, they will be able to continue practicing this using the picture cards. The students will use all of the sight word materials to become master sight word readers and writers, allowing them to more confidently create independent writing pieces.
My students love for ELA will be fostered and encouraged through the use of hands-on materials.
They will be able to apply the skills they have to continue exploring and building upon the world of language, in order to grow more confident in themselves as readers and writers!
