This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a passionate dual language teacher for 3rd graders, I strive to ignite a love for reading in my students. With your help, we can provide them with the Amelia Bedelia Box Set, The Bad Guys Box Set, Dog Man: The Supa Epic Collection, The Baby-sitters Club Graphic Novels, Big Nate Box Set, and fun bookmarkers. These books will captivate their imagination and enhance their bilingual literacy skills.

These specific items will make a world of difference in their learning by offering a diverse range of stories that cater to different interests and reading levels.

My goal is to create a classroom library that encourages independent reading, sparks joy, and fosters a lifelong love of books.

My students are special because they bring a rich blend of cultures and languages into our classroom, making every day an exciting learning experience. They are eager, curious, and resilient, always ready to embrace new challenges with enthusiasm. However, many of them lack access to high-quality books at home, which makes our classroom library even more crucial.
