This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are incredible middle schoolers who come to my reading resource room to build their confidence and improve their reading skills. Many of them have learning differences, and they require extra support, patience, and innovative learning approaches. Despite their challenges, they show up every day ready to try their best. They need the right tools to help them succeed.

I’m asking for fun and engaging reading games and high-interest books to help my students grow as readers.

Many of them struggle with traditional methods of learning, so hands-on games and age-appropriate books that match their reading level make a huge difference.

These resources will help students work on important skills like vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency—without it feeling like work. The games also let them practice in small groups or independently, which is great for building confidence and keeping them motivated.

With your support, I can create a reading environment that’s fun, supportive, and full of materials that meet my students where they are—so they can get where they need to be.
